Welcome to Bluefin Sportfishing Charters. Are you interested in inshore or offshore sportfishing? Have Bluefin Sportfishing Charters make your trip enjoyable with our expert and friendly service. For inshore sportfishing enthusiasts, come aboard for Striped Bass, Bluefish, Fluke, Porgy and Blackfish, or for the more adventurous, Shark, Tuna, Marlin, and Swordfish offshore. From Long Island Sound to Continental Shelf of the Atlantic, come experience firsthand on the 44' Henriques Sportfishing yacht, “BLUEFIN”, with Captain Mike Marro, who has been featured in Sport Fishing Magazine.

Located in Clinton, CT, Bluefin Sportfishing Charters is one of the premier Connecticut Charter fishing boats on the Shoreline. Our close proximity to such locations as Six Mile Reef, Long Sand Shoal, East Rip and even Southwest Reef where Greg Myerson caught the all tackle world record striped bass in July 2011 weighing 81.88 lbs. With all these locations within 4 miles of where the Bluefin is docked, we do not have to waste time traveling to catch you a striped bass of a lifetime.

In 2012, the Bluefin came in 1st. place overall in the Star Island Shark Tournament in Montauk, NY beating out a field of over 170 boats with a 422lb. Thresher Shark. This was the third time in 5 years the Bluefin crew has placed in one of the major Montauk Shark tournaments. Congrats to Capt. Mike and the crew of the Bluefin..

**2013 Fishing Starts MAY 11th**

Half day special for May $550 ($50 savings)

Spring is upon us and the crew has been at work getting the Bluefin ready for the 2013 season.  The past few seasons, we have enjoyed excellent Striped Bass fishing in May with limits being the norm. These trips are favorites for the Striped Bass enthusiasts. In May, the "Stripers" enter the long Island sound after migrating from the warmer waters of the Chesapeake and coastal North Carolina and they are hungry! The Striped Bass fishing will stay excellent right through the month of July.

We still have some dates available during the month of May. Below are a few of Capt. Mike's choice dates and times still available for May based on moon phase and tide:

May morning trips: 16th,17th,19th, 23rd, 24th, 26th and 31st.

        afternoon trips: 18th,19th, 20th, 25th and 31st.

        evening/night: 15th,16th, 21st, 22nd, 23rd, 24th, 29th and 30th
